Pistor School

On Thursday, February 3rd , thirteen Corvettes and one member's Harley from our Club were on display at the annual car show at the Pistor Middle School's Career Day.

It was a bit cool and very windy; but the students were very
happy to see all the cars, which included hot rods, low riders, motorcycles, dragsters, and of course.....

Corvettes!
The Tucson Corvette Club also attended, so Corvettes were the largest group at the display.

This year, the school did something different. They asked the students to bring a can of food and put it by the car they liked best. It was a close contest between Kathleen Nasser's 2001 Bowling Green Corvette and Larry Wood's 2005 Magnetic Red Corvette.

At the end, the winner was Kathleen Nasser. Kathleen spent a lot of time talking
to the girls, and taking pictures. They were impressed that a female owned a Corvette. Kathleen told them to get a good education, finish school, get a good job, and they, too, could own a Corvette.

This is always a fun day, so keep it in mind for next year.
