Recent Events - Jets N Vettes
On an early Sunday morning, a group of members headed for the Pima Air Museum for the first annual Jets N Vettes. We were joined by a group from the Tucson Corvette Club. First on the agenda was having your picture taken next to an old fighter jet. Thanks to John Sparbel for standing out in the cold and taking everyone's picture. Then we were escored to Hanger #4 and all Corvettes were set up around the planes in the hanger. The hangers are not heated, so the temperature was a bit on the cool side, but nothing we couldn't handle. A fun time was had by all; visiting with TCC members and the general public, and checking out all the displays at the museum.
 This was the first attempt by the museum at doing something like this - the idea is great and we think it has a future. Thanks, again, to John Sparbel for taking the pictures and spending most of his day enhancing each photo and printing it for all participants. |
